Oliver's London
The Victorian Era was the time when queen Victoria ruled over England, it lasted from 1837-1901. Some people called it the period of peace. But Britain had war almost every year. Child labor was what made the Victorian Era famous. Parents would drop their children of to work and they would stay their for the day and orphans had no choice. The kids were forced to work long hours and low wages to help the family gain money. So basically everyone in the family was working. It was 16 grueling hours for any age 4 to around 30 but most people died by 25. They worked as chimney sweepers, errand boys, crossing sweepers, or shoe blacks. Or you could work as an apprentice a builder or a domestic servant. Builders worked 64 hours a week in the summer and 52 in the winter, while domestic servants worked 80 hours a week in the summer and winter. child prostitution was also an option.

The Butterfly Lion Poem
The Butterfly Lion
By: Jesse Agaba
Fighting in the midst of war
All over through the moor
Swoosh, wizz, bang, boom
Enemy gunshots loom
All this war is a death trap
Be careful your leg could snap
Bertie Andrews shows his bravery
We are treated like in slavery
This trail of death is endless
Most our wounds are mend less
They are coming fast we are losing ground
Our foe's advantages will soon mound
We are being called fake
Have mercy for goodness sake
Swoosh, wizz, bang, boom
The darkness of war shall loom
With time my faith will break
Have mercy for goodness sake
We have a mountain to climb
We need saving and spare the time
Introduction
I choose the Butterfly Lion scene when Bertie and his team members are fighting during the war and I choose that scene because it had the most drama. When and how he experienced the war and what he went through.

Mr. Anagnos
Massachusetts,Boston
Dear Mr Anagnos,
I am looking for a professional teacher with a lot of experience with blind and deaf children. The child is six years of age and regularly has tantrums which can't be dealt with most of the time. She also has problems with self control, tolerance, and obedience. The child is demanding and tries to overpower her elders. I am offering to pay $28 a month for the professional teacher with lots of experience. I am demanding results soon.
Sincerely yours,
Captain Keller

Teaching Someone Somethig
I taught how to make different types of hand shadows to someone I knew. I taught someone how to make hand shadows because my knowledge on hand shadows varies. I went to teach my younger sister because I thought it would be nice to teach someone younger than myself so that maybe they could teach someone else later. At the beginning of the lesson It was hard for her to move her fingers to make something. In the middle of the lesson she started to understand how to make different figurers. My thoughts at the end of the lesson are that I probably should have taught someone else with longer fingers.
