The Butterfly Lion
By: Jesse Agaba
Fighting in the midst of war
All over through the moor
Swoosh, wizz, bang, boom
Enemy gunshots loom
All this war is a death trap
Be careful your leg could snap
Bertie Andrews shows his bravery
We are treated like in slavery
This trail of death is endless
Most our wounds are mend less
They are coming fast we are losing ground
Our foe's advantages will soon mound
We are being called fake
Have mercy for goodness sake
Swoosh, wizz, bang, boom
The darkness of war shall loom
With time my faith will break
Have mercy for goodness sake
We have a mountain to climb
We need saving and spare the time
Introduction
I choose the Butterfly Lion scene when Bertie and his team members are fighting during the war and I choose that scene because it had the most drama. When and how he experienced the war and what he went through.
